How to install a forklift brake master cylinder?
- When installing a new brake master cylinder, ensure that the push rod is coaxial with the piston, and measure the hollow depth of the piston ejector rod in the front chamber (if equipped with a booster).
- After replacing the master cylinder, clean the original brake fluid and use qualified brake fluid of the same specification to avoid mixing to prevent damage to the master cylinder.
- When adding brake fluid, add an appropriate amount to the oil cup, step on the brake pedal to fill the master cylinder with brake fluid, and adjust it through the wheel cylinder.
- When connecting the hydraulic pipeline, check the master pump and joint seals.
- Depress the brake pedal to drain the air from the pump, and pay attention to the bleed screw, if not, bleed the air on the wheel cylinder.
- Adjust the gap between the brake pad and the brake drum and the stroke of the master cylinder cylinder, and add an appropriate amount of brake fluid.
- After debugging the performance of the master cylinder and connecting the oil pipe, test the braking effect to ensure that the braking effect of the two wheels is consistent.
