Product Description
Forklift Hydraulic Pump
Electric pallet trucks use hydraulics to lift and lower the forks. When the pallet truck is activated, the hydraulic pump draws oil from the reservoir and compresses it into high-pressure liquid. This high-pressure liquid is then directed through pipes to the lift cylinder, causing the piston within the cylinder to move up or down. The vertical movement of the hydraulic cylinder raises or lowers the forks, enabling the pallet truck to lift or lower objects.
Procedure for Removing a Hydraulic Oil Pump from a Motor
Preparation:
1. Gather Tools: Prepare necessary tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pullers.
2. Safety Check: Ensure the motor is powered off and unplugged to prevent any accidents.
Disassembly Steps:
1. Disconnect Coupling: Remove the screws securing the coupling between the hydraulic oil pump and the motor, then detach the coupling.
2. Loosen Pump Mounting: Unscrew the bolts fixing the oil pump to the motor. If necessary, remove the input and output pipes from the pump.
3. Remove Motor Base: Unscrew and remove the black base screws from the motor to separate the motor base from the motor.
4. Remove Motor Cover: If required, detach the motor's outer casing or cover.
