Product Description
5 Common Switches for Electric Forklifts:
1. Forklift Power Switch: Controls the connection between the battery and the electrical equipment of the entire forklift. Only after the power switch is turned on can the various electrical devices be operated.
2. Forklift Start Switch: Typically located on the control panel inside the cab, usually to the right of the steering wheel. It is used to start and stop the electric forklift's power system. Pressing the switch turns the power system on or off.
3. Forklift Emergency Switch: This is set up to prevent the forklift from needing to be stopped immediately due to unexpected circumstances during normal use. It is usually installed very close to the forklift operator to facilitate immediate access.
4. Light Switch: Used to turn on or off the forklift's front and rear lights. It is mostly a pull-knob switch with single, double, or triple positions. The switch model varies with different forklift models. The turn signal switch connects or disconnects the left or right turn signal and indicator lights. Currently, forklifts commonly use lever-type or toggle switches. The lever-type turn switch is installed on the steering shaft below the steering wheel.
5. Electric Forklift Horn Button: Connects the horn circuit to make the horn sound. It is usually installed in the center or on the sides of the steering wheel.
