Forklift Mast Roller Features
Forklift mast rollers are crucial components for supporting and guiding the moving parts within the mast system. They are divided into two groups: longitudinal and lateral rollers, and are symmetrically arranged on the inner and outer masts and the fork bracket.
Longitudinal Rollers: These use the pillar flange plate as a guide rail and bear the force perpendicular to the plane of the mast. They serve as the main load-bearing rollers.
Lateral Rollers: These use the column web as the guide rail and can withstand lateral forces in the plane of the mast. The acting force on these rollers is small, so they have a smaller diameter.
Modern forklift mast systems predominantly use composite mast rollers as supporting and guiding components. In this setup, the lateral rollers are installed at the center of the longitudinal rollers. This design aligns the installation distance of both types of rollers, reducing the structural size and simplifying installation.
