Forklift fuel filter include diesel filter and gas filter depend on engine type. Most internal combustion forklift is equipped with diesel engine because diesel engine is better economical and strength performance than gasoline engine. Diesel engine use compressed air to the diesel, thus diesel doesn't have igniting spark like gasoline engine. The diesel just is directly by compressed air. The structure of diesel and gasoline engine is difference, which use difference forklift fuel filter.

The forklift fuel filter, if the forklift has been used for more than 8 hours daily, is recommended to be replaced once a month. Of course, different forklift trucks and different working environments may have slightly different replacement cycles, if not commonly used, it can also be replaced every three months. But in the overhaul of forklift trucks, it is better to replace diesel filter together with oil filter, fuel filter and air filter.
