The Lift Cylinder in Electric Pallet Truck
The lift cylinder in electric pallet trucks is a plunger-type cylinder, structurally composed of a piston, cylinder tube, seals, and connecting parts. The hydraulic chamber formed by the piston and cylinder tube enables reciprocating motion through the transfer of hydraulic oil's kinetic energy. The seals, often made from NBR or fluorocarbon, provide excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, and wear resistance.
The base of the lift cylinder is typically secured to the bottom of the mast using a flange limit, while the middle section is fixed with U-bolts. Additionally, some cylinders are equipped with a cushioning device at the bottom to reduce the impact force between the piston and the cylinder bottom during the lowering of the fork frame.
