Product Description
Forklift Hydraulic Torque Converter
The forklift hydraulic torque converter is composed of four basic components: pump wheel, turbine, guide wheel, and torque converter housing.
The Main Parts of the Forklift Hydraulic Torque Converter are As Follows:
1. Pump wheel of forklift hydraulic torque converter
The forklift torque converter pump wheel is the active component of the torque converter. It is welded with the torque converter shell. The torque converter shell assembly is fixed to the rear flange of the engine crankshaft with bolts. Inside the pump wheel, there are a series of blades to give the working fluid extra acceleration and additional energy. A guide ring is provided inside the blade to allow the transmission oil to flow smoothly.
2. Turbine wheel of forklift hydraulic torque converter
The forklift torque converter turbine wheel is the driven element of the torque converter. It is connected to the input shaft of the planetary gear transmission through a spline. It absorbs kinetic energy from the moving liquid and converts the kinetic energy into rotational kinetic energy. Like the pump wheel, the turbine is also equipped with many blades.
3. Guide wheel of forklift hydraulic torque converter
The forklift torque converter guide wheel is located between the pump wheel and the turbine and is the reaction element of the hydraulic torque converter. It is mounted on the guide wheel bushing (connected to the transmission housing) via a one-way clutch. It is used to control the backflow of liquid from the center of the turbine back to the middle of the pump wheel, that is, to change the direction of the liquid flow that leaves the turbine and returns to the pump wheel.
